In Minsk, the National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus will host an exhibition of sculpture, ceramics, and graphics by the two greatest Spanish modern artists, Salvador Dalí and Pablo Picasso. The exhibition will be open to the public from 30 April till 28 June 2015.
For the first time, thirty ceramics by Picasso are exhibited in Minsk, as well as all the ceramics, drawings, and the most famous sculptures by Dalí featuring Lobster Telephone, surreal flowers, and other fantastic pieces. Viewers have a rare opportunity to compare two geniuses and confront their vision and ideas about women, bullfighting, hot Spain, and many other things.
All the displayed pieces are authentic. They are collector Alexander Shadrin's property. Over the past 15 years, as the collection evolved, many pieces were purchased at the Espace Dalí in Paris, at Christie's in London, from collectors, at art galleries and auction houses of Europe.
Exhibitors are the National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus and Russian businessman, collector, and patron of arts Alexander Shadrin.
