On June 22, the "When the Lilac Blooms ..." exhibition opens in the National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus.
More than 40 artworks will be presented at the exhibition which is dedicated to the memory of the people's feat of the Great Patriotic War. Many paintings are showing the heroic fate of the Brest Fortress.
Tamara Denisova graduated from the Odessa Art School, then Vitebsk State University. Member of the Belarusian Union of Artists. Spent fourteen solo exhibitions in Belarus, Poland, Germany. Artist–teacher, she taught painting and drawing lessons for more than 35 years in the Children's Art School in Brest. Many of the author's works are in private collections in Great Britain, Germany, Poland, China, USA, Japan.
Representatives of international diplomatic missions, state bodies, heads of cultural and educational institutions, chairmen of creative unions and cultural community will take part in the opening ceremony.
