The exposition of the exhibition "Sun Peak" represents a multi–genre concept of works of different periods and a variety of tasks of the author's creative development: years of study at the Academy, open–air painting of the Belarusian, Montenegrin, Polish, Caucasian cycles.

The theme of the exhibition was the work of the same name, created in the North Caucasus in May 2017, during the artistic trip of the artist from the Academy of Arts – participation in the 5th International Open Festival of Open–air Painting "Grechishkinskaya Spring 2017", dedicated to the Honored Artist of the RSFSR P.Grechishkin. The spring nature of the Stavropol Territory at this time offered painters a palette of subtle relationships of silver coloring: permanent rain and white fog, hiding from the eyes the silhouettes of peaks. The sudden appearance of the sun over the mountain landscape gave rise to creative insight. To see the sunlit peak against the sky was a miracle. And suddenly she seemed ...

Write the sun – this goal at the beginning of the creative path was formed subconsciously, was the attraction of the artist's soul. Subsequently – subjective emotion and numerous observations of light in real life resulted in a purposeful work with the theme of light at the level of the main creative task. Therefore, it is not accidental, the idea of the personal project of the exhibition "Walking by the Sun" was born, which was exhibited in the halls of the gallery "Academy" of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts in May 2013. The theme of walking through the sun presented itself as a complex collective concept that unites the miracle of the world in the everyday environment of man and the meaning of spiritual light, referring to the evangelical miracle of walking through the waters: "when the physical light illuminated the earth, it turned into a" white road ": and it became on earth as in the sky "(A. Kononov, from the author's words in the annotation to the exhibition). Disclosure of the theme of traveling around the world and walking on the sun was planned in a series of projects in which the artist's purposeful work with light acts as an intentional concept–teleology.

"Sun Peak" is the second project of the series. The image of the solar peak can be interpreted as the direction of creative search, as the ontological meaning of the goal of each person, each artist. The presence of light in real life for Anna Kononova is a tacit self–sufficient multifaceted recitation of the Spirit – both explicit and hidden in everyday life and everyday life.
