01.08.2018 - Visit of the official delegation of the Sultanate of Oman

August 1, 2018. The official delegation of the Sultanate of Oman visited the National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus. Headed by Mr. Hamed al–Davayni, the chairman of the National archive management of the Sultanate of Oman, guests examined the museum exposition and got acquainted with the monuments of the historical and cultural heritage of Belarus.

At the negotiations held by the members of the delegation with the museum administrators, the parties outlined ways for further cooperation. Also, valuable gifts were exchanged.

We remind that from April to July 2018, the National Museum of the Sultanate of Oman (Muscat) exhibited the collection of the National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus, called "Belarus at the Crossroads of Civilizations" and dedicated to the historical connection of Belarus with the Islamic world.
